Too sick to care about?

Has anyone else had the experience where a late stage diagnosis has been given with no prognosis, nebulous offers of not-forthcoming PCSN help, put into palliative care for a couple of weeks (several times) but treated like a hospice patient, not referring specialist follow-ups to determine the debilitating non-cancer-related pain issues and delaying chemotherapy for not good reason… and any number of events that nightmares are made of?

I’d love to hear your stories. For all the good that this Foundation does, so many healthcare professionals on the ground undermine all that good work.

Things need to change and change will never happen if no-one speaks up… so, I’m speaking up, and hope that you will, too.
