PTSD

Not exactly prostate cancer. Let me explain! Last year I had half the prostate removed. Correct description? I was leaking and had home nursing attend to me via change of catheter. I have started to leak again and use the Teena pads. PTSD – I saw Australian Story re prostate sufferer and his wife – names?? Can’t remember. Leading to suicide. I shared the symptoms of PTSD with a specialist today and she said this was a fair reaction. I already suffer from PTSD – a survivor near-murder, child abuse in a Catholic school – recently legally recognized. Getting assistance under Victims of Crime Act. I share with the symptoms shared by the brave couple on Australian Story. Recently legally accepted PTSD has invoked a degree of PTSD re possibility of return of prostate problems – advised today to recommence diagnosis/possible treatment. Based on PTSD I am a bit “shy” as to having therapy. Said by forensics that this a fair reaction as memory/referral to prostate gives flashbacks of child abuse. Any suggestions as to how to face this from another perspective?
