transport after surgery

I am scheduled to have my prostate removed in late May. I am 4 hours from the hospital and would normally travel by train and/or bus. Will this be OK? Or should I look for vehicle transport?

All states and territories have Patient Assisted Travel Schemes (PATS) to help patients in rural and remote Australia with the costs of travel for specialist treatment. Rules and amounts covered vary.
