Presentations invitation

Hi everyone,

Bayside Kingston Prostate Cancer Support Group have Dr Paul Conway and Mr Andrew Do presenting from the Icon Cancer Cyberknife Centre at our next meeting on Monday 7/9/26. 

Icon Cancer Centre is currently the only provider of this technology in Victoria, having launched the service 12 months ago. The presentation will cover topics such as current treatment options for localised and advanced prostate cancer, advances in radiation therapy, managing side effects, and maintaining quality of life. 

Plus an overview of CyberKnife® stereotactic radiotherapy—a highly precise, non-invasive treatment that may be a suitable alternative to surgery for selected patients. The Q&A session is often very valuable and you are encouraged to ask questions. 

We also have Linley Watson from PCFA presenting and I have asked Linley to share this invitation out to local support groups in the area in case there is interest from anyone else who would like to attend. All are very welcome!

Tea, coffee and sandwiches will be provided and there will be no cost or member fees required for this meeting.
