For those members who are not aware of local prostate cancer support groups, they are a valuable source for newly diagnosed men to speak with men who have been through various treatments firsthand. Also assist partners to speak with other women and obtain support.

We have: Prosper – Darwin Prostate Cancer Support Group. We are looking for anyone interested in having an online meeting from outside of Darwin as we will be happy to run one for those in remote areas via an online platform. Please reach out to us if you are interested: p***********n@o******.com
I started a local group here in Adelaide last year, and the guys (and their partners) have found it very helpful to be able to talk about things with others who are (or have) going through it as well. It’s just easier, and feels safer, to talk about these things with people who understand.
