Husband diagnosed Jan 2026 localised Gleason 3+4. It’s taken this long to see a Urologist for the positive biopsy results after a failed Urolift June 2024, increased PSA June 2025, MRI & then biopsies Dec 2025. His Urologist has recommended total robotic nerve sparing prostatectomy, but is the same urologist who performed the failed Urolift, so we are understandably concerned. At our insistence, we got an appointment to discuss other treatments with an Oncologist.
How do you choose the best Urologist & Surgeon? Can you find out their success rates?
