Post sling op
My husband is 8 weeks post male sling op ( he was incontinent after RARP 12 months ago). At this stage he still isnโt dry. Has anyone had this and got better within the 6 month period of recovery

G’day, I had the RARP 3rd Dec 2025, and I’m not dry.
Pads are my constant companion. I’m doing the exercises, but one thing I struggle with is the attempt to stop draining when I go to stand up or even move position when sitting. I’m told by health care pros and literature it’s early days yet and could take a while. The one positive is that the last two nights I’ve been dry. Mind you to stop draining into the pad when I get up Ihave to squeeze the old fellow and get to the toilet. However as the bladder hasn’t had much use as a storage container it’s not holding a lot which means I’m getting up at least once during the night. (Mind you that’s not any different from having to wake up to do a night pad/pants change)
