Hi There

I am 1 week post op and my catheter is almost unbearable!!!

I dont have an infection but i can’t find a comfortable position for it!

I can hardly walk because of it and i am in constant pain and discomfort even when sitting down,

any suggestions on how to endure another week of this?

We can help provide more information about catheter care after surgery. Securing the catheter well to the upper thigh, wearing supportive underwear to reduce movement and rubbing can minimise discomfort. Discussing the use of regular mild analgesia and a topical local anaesthetic with your medical team can also be indicated at this time.
